Black People Having Fun
Honestly I felt a bit nostalgic about a time before covid-19 and wanted to share some photos of Black people being beautiful and having fun.
These are some images from some time ago where we all got together to celebrate a good friend Smangie and her one year anniversary of her amazing podcast Avocado and Honey.

Tauheedah
Tauheedah is a talented painter, dance/fitness instructor, writer and film director. She’s as multi-faceted as they come, with such a refreshing passion for life that is such a pleasure to be around. She approached me with the idea of meeting at a beach and capturing some images on the beach in honor of the Goddess Yemaya. This was fun and look forward to collaborating with her again soon.

Brittany M.
This shoot was so much fun. I’ve never worked with Brittany (in front of the lens at least), so this was a great opportunity to see how well we would be able to execute an idea. Brittany is an incredibly talented clothing and swimsuit designer and of course she is wearing her own creation, which is a flex in itself. Before shooting Brittany was making it clear that she has no interest in ever modeling, HOWEVER being the great friend that I am I ignore her every time that she says this to me. Obviously…she’s wrong lol.
